Spring Turkey Hunting Presentation:
Wednesday April 8 at 630pm, Bldg 778 DFMWR Outdoor Recreation. Kevin Walter, Fort Belvoir wildlife biologist and hunting/fishing program manager will give a presentation on spring turkey hunting. Kevin is a life member of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF), local NWTF Chapter president, VA NWTF Hall of Fame Member, and has hunted in 17 different states for turkeys, completing 1 grand slam and hoping to complete 2 more soon! Topics will cover turkey biology, hunting tips/tactics, calling techniques, and state of the wild turkey at Fort Belvoir.
